ABOUT 18 YEARS AGO, I WAS TAUGHT THIS POWERFUL TRICK.

Instead of thinking everything is happening to you (powerless, blaming position), begin to ask the question:

WHAT IS THIS SITUATION TRYING TO TEACH ME? (Powerful, responsible, co-creative position)

OR WHAT CAN I LEARN FROM THIS OCCURRENCE?

I’ve applied this MINDSET SHIFT to so many things in my life - good and bad.

My divorce.
My house getting demolished.
The unplanned move.
Relationships ending.
Friendships beginning.

It’s not always bad things that need the question. It’s good things too. ✨

Like setting up a new habit to go to the gym, drink more water, not eat after 8 pm, remove certain words from your vocabulary or anything new - ways of thinking can be really challenging to break and change.

Today, ask yourself and God/Spirit - DOES MY MENTAL NEED A SHIFT?

Do I need to change the way I view things? Am I a “BLAMING” person or a “take responsibility” person?

Do I seek to make things better in my life by learning or growing or do I stay stuck by believing everything is everyone else’s fault?

Share below what questions you’ve begun to ask yourself for new mindset shifts. Or share if you’re going to make this mental change? 👇🏽👇🏽
