Although it can be hard and really scary to believe in your dreams, they are the very essence of who you are.
They are a clue to what the Divine put you here on earth to do and to BE.
It doesn’t matter how old you are.
It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made.
It only matters that you stay true to you and your soul’s truth.
After years of squelching and denying some of my biggest dreams, I began to understand why I had periods of deep unhappiness. I wasn’t living my life for me. I was living it to meet the expectations of others - mostly parents and my ex-husband. I had settled!
Today, after years of inner work and self-discovery, a remembering of sorts, I am living for my dreams - the ones God placed in me before I was even born. My heart is happier. I’m happier. And I’m showing my son - my why - that life is truly here for us to pursue our dreams.
We don’t have to settle.
