Y'ALL THIS WEEK HAS BEEN A DOOZY! 

Have you had weeks or even seasons where it feels like it is one thing after another?

Well, I am in one of those periods. 

Emotional. Draining. Triggering. 

You may think that since I am the "mindfulness lady" or the "spiritual wellness chick" or whatever (fill in the blank) woman that everything is always smooth. 

NOPE! NOT TRUE!

Things happen in my life that are troubling. 

Things happen that are super draining.

Things happen to me and those closest to me that affect me. 

And most importantly, I cannot predict them. 

And although the past couple of days have been rough, I am dropping into my tools - meditation, prayer, stillness, journaling, yoga, and connecting with trusted loved ones. 

The tools we've learned and carry are great when times are going AMAZING. They are even better when things feel CRAZY and OVERWHELMING. 

Today, this message is for me as much as it is for YOU. 

Give yourself a break. Use your tools. And rest when needed.
