LATELY, THE MORNING HAVE BEEN A STRUGGLE
Lately, the mornings have been a struggle. He doesn’t want to get up. He doesn’t want to shower. He just wants to be at home with mama.

Although endearing, it makes for a tough morning. And I hate the feeling of rushing. And truthfully, I don’t want him to create memories of mama being frustrated or irritated in the morning. I want him to have the best start to his day.

So, our mornings are a work in progress ... as I know I am. As I am reminded, we are all - amazing works in progress.

But even frustrating mornings have bright lights — like today’s playful kitty! This is life with my four-year old. Equal parts frustrating, freeing and fun! I love this guy! ❤️
